Home batteries
Store your daytime solar for cold evenings, when heating demand is highest. Eligible batteries get an upfront discount through the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program, which we take off your quote. For batteries installed by 31 December 2026 it works out at roughly $270 per kWh of usable capacity for the first 14 kWh at current certificate prices, with a smaller discount for capacity above 14 kWh. The rate steps down on 1 January 2027.
