Pools, sheds and bushfire-prone blocks
A pool pump running for hours in the middle of the day is one of the best matches for solar there is. If we can shift your pump timer and other daytime loads into solar hours, you use more of your own power and export less. On acreage, a shed roof can add a lot of panel space, but long cable runs to the main switchboard cost money, so we work out whether it’s worth it before we recommend it.
Much of the rural Hills is bushland, and some properties are in bushfire-prone areas. We’ll talk to you about where to put your inverter and battery, keeping clearances and access in mind, and install the battery to the Australian battery standard, AS/NZS 5139.
