Solar & Battery Installers in Albury
Albury’s hot, dry summers and cold winter mornings keep air conditioners and heaters busy for much of the year. We travel to Albury and the surrounding NSW border region to install solar panels and home batteries for homes, rural properties and businesses, from Lavington and Thurgoona out to Jindera and Howlong. We’ll recommend a system that suits your roof, your usage and your budget.
Our services
Residential solar from 6 kW
Our home systems generally start at 6 kW. Albury homes with ducted cooling, a pool or an EV often go bigger, and we size the system from your bills.
Home batteries
Store your midday solar for the evening peak. Eligible batteries get an upfront discount through the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program, which we take off your quote. For batteries installed by 31 December 2026 it works out at roughly $270 per kWh of usable capacity for the first 14 kWh at current certificate prices, with a smaller discount for capacity above 14 kWh. The rate steps down on 1 January 2027.
Commercial and rural solar
Warehouses, workshops, shops and farm sheds often use most of their power in daylight hours. We’ll review your bills and give you a clear proposal.
In NSW you may also be eligible for an upfront incentive under the NSW Peak Demand Reduction Scheme when you connect your battery to a virtual power plant (VPP). It’s paid on up to 28 kWh of battery capacity, through participating VPP providers.

Border town rebates and inland weather
The federal battery discount applies Australia-wide, but NSW programs like the Peak Demand Reduction Scheme VPP incentive only apply to NSW addresses. If you’re in Albury, you can use the NSW incentives. If you’re across the river in Wodonga, different Victorian rules and networks apply, so ask us before you compare quotes.
Hot summer days slightly reduce panel output, so we choose panels with a good temperature rating and leave airflow under the array. Inland storms can bring hail and strong winds, so we use panels that meet the IEC 61215 standard, which includes hail impact testing, with mounting rated for your site’s wind conditions. Batteries go in shaded spots and are installed to AS/NZS 5139.
